Some thought we were crazy when we announced our thoughts of moving to the other side of the world.  Many wondered why and some still do.  Taking a look back on the past year we've realized just how far we've come, how much we've learned and how many things we've seen and done.  Not all events have been glamorous but they have all been memorable.  The year has flown by and for those still questioning us, we ask you this:  What have YOU done this year?

Because we've...

... been to paradise to stand under the trees

and dip our toes in the water.

... swam in water a color you can't even dream.

... celebrated in style

and with our bellies hanging out.

... seen crabs in dangerous situations

and men as well.

... shopped at the finest stores,

 found the best sales

and even a few priceless items.  (Found in Bangkok, Thailand)

... eaten a vast variety of dried squid

and our share of bugs.

... eaten silkworm as barfood

and fruit we couldn't identify.

... hung out with monkeys

and met elephants on the side of the road.

          ... peed on the sparkling,                          the not so sparkling,

and the just plain bizarre.

... eaten a few unusual ingredients

and drank some too.

... even stared down dinosaurs.

... been stuck in some interesting traffic jams

and watched others go nowhere at all.

... invaded others' personal space

and had others get into ours.
